Date... Aug. 3 2012....the news.... one big piece of news is that I am trying to update the news before the news becomes old news, and that won't be news at all...sooo...... Latlita is now 6 mos old...just to give you an idea that time does fly... and new news is really hard to keep up with . But there are many interesting things that have happened over the past few months....they might not qualify as news, but anyway:
Going back slowly..... on the cow front.... we have a new cow her name is Bhadra and is she is full Jersey.... and giving 4gal a day. She was donated by Hrsikesa Madhav.and his better half...Kamala dd... we thank them very much for such kindness....
Our first cow , Yashoda, the one first purchased by James just had a baby 2 weeks ago and her name is Radha... very perky girl.... and very strong voice... and sweet too.... We are bottle feeding her to get her bonded to the human family... and it is working nicely. She is very beautiful and pics of her will be put up on the goshalla page for easy looking. Our milk production is 13gal/day which suggests that we had better find, (and we have), customers to appriciate these extraordinary products which we have painstakingly learned how to produce... such as butter, lots of ghee, yogurt, srikand, paneer, etc... we have realistic prices on these special items such as $10/lb on the paneer. $10 a gallon fresh cream milk. etc.... our demand is strong..... thanks to you all out there
We have been busy planting many fruit trees and berries, the garden is giving great abundance and fresh pics of the produce can be seen on the organics page.
We are doing some nice local outreach programs and making some nice friends in the local community....as Moore county only has 6000 people, it won't take long to meet everyone.... We are having an open house soon inviting all the locals....and new friends.

Radha is the 2nd calf born in this new era...she is the daughter of Yashoda, the first cow purchased by James when he first arrived in Jan 2011.Born July 15 , 2012.
Due to the gracious generousity of our extended family of supporters, Radha is now cow #9.

Regarding the "Iskcon Holler Yard and Farmstuff sale" We are getting ready to announce to the community the date and time... it will be an open house type of deal, with the aim of meeting the community, and maybe even selling a few things.... books and prasad will be free to all visitors..This is coming up soon....

On Jan 30, 2013 a new member of Murari'''s family of cows Syama had her baby... another girl!
First there was Lalita , then there came Radha, and I believe that Vishaka has just arrived!
